On 26 November, “2016 Annual Meeting of University-Enterprise Cooperation” was held in Baiyun district by Guangzhou Electromechanical Technology College and attracted over 350 enterprises and associations. He Shilin, the deputy director of Guangzhou bureau of human resources and social service, Wang Zhiqiang, the director of the machinery industry education center, Yang Min, the president of Guangzhou Electromechanical Technology College and Xu Cerong, the secretary of the Party committee of the college and teachers attended this meeting.
Before the meeting, numerous guests and media was attracted to attended the meeting and came to know the education of Guangzhou Electromechanical Technology College, highly praising the achievements of the college on its cooperation with enterprises.
In the meeting, Yang Min, the president of Guangzhou Electromechanical Technology College, made a speech. Lu Chusheng, the deputy president of the college, reported the college’s cooperation with enterprises in two years. Later, the guests watched the video introducing the college’s teaching results and cooperation with enterprises. The projects like education according to orders, apprentices of enterprises system and the professional training of workers won warm applause from guests. In the meeting, Guangzhou Electromechanical Technology College signed cooperative contracts with 6 enterprises and celebrated the construction of bases. The college signed a contract with Xinjiang Installment Senior Technician College and decided to establish the branch college in Guangzhou Electromechanical Technology College.
Wu Yingxiong, the general director of Greatoo’s HR department, made a speech. He said that the company has always paid attention to the cultivation of talents and the cooperation with universities and colleges and maintained the principle of taking talents as its priority in the company’s development. As the company implemented its global strategy, the company knew that in order to strengthen its core competitiveness, it’s very important to build a high quality team of talents who were reliable and willing to stay in the company. But according to the human resource market, there was structural conflict between the supplying side and the side in need. So university-enterprise cooperation was an effective way to cultivate the talents companies need. Today, Guangzhou Electromechanical Technology College provided a platform for communication and cooperation between universities and enterprises, which was meaningful. Since 2013, Greatoo has established cooperation with Guangzhou Electromechanical Technology College and adopted the molds of new system of apprentices, cooperative education, talents cultivation, which has promoted the development of the college and the company. At present, the company has recruited two terms of graduate students. In May, 2015, the company and the college adopted the new system of apprentices and opened the class for NC processing major, which indicated the further cooperation between the college and the company and the implementation of then national policy of “the new system of apprentices” in 2015. This year, the college organized special training activities in Greatoo and carried out the company’s strategy of helping all workers have qualified certificates. Now, over 800 workers completed the training and over 200 workers in the processing center were receiving the training activities. The company believed that under the efforts of the leaders and the board, the company will further its cooperation with the college and make greater achievements.
